This instrument embodies my passion for the timeless sound of hip-hop drums, meticulously sampled from old vinyl. My objective was to capture the authentic character of these classic drums, while offering unprecedented levels of customization that surpass the limitations of loops and samples. The result is an instrument with an intuitive interface, delivering outstanding sound right out of the box.

I sampled my cherished jam kit (from my “Tape Drums” sample pack series), utilizing top-notch equipment such as Beyerdynamic M 201 TG microphones and Neve 517 preamps.  Each drum was sampled multiple times, allowing for diverse dynamic levels and round robins, creating an incredibly authentic “live” playing experience.

Moreover, this instrument goes beyond the conventional drumstick sound by incorporating different stick attacks like brushes and rods, expanding your sonic possibilities even further.
